Michael Henry founded mdh fine arts & design in 2005 as a showcase for work comprising a wide diversity of styles and subject matter. The gallery features paintings, drawings, print making, photography, ceramic arts, and design. Whatever the medium represented, the art works are always visually accessible, technically proficient and of important artistic merit and accomplishment. Henry has work in the art field since 1989, first with Merrill Chase Galleries in Denver, Colorado. In 1993, Henry moved to New York to work for Gallery Revel, where he stayed until 2005. Henry is a graduate of Denver University with a degree in Mass Communications and Fine Art. He has continued his studies in drawing and painting at Art Students’ League of Denver, The Copper Union, New York and New York Academy of Art. His work has been exhibited at Gallery Revel, New York, St. Francis of Paola Parish, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Bev’s Fine Art, Raleigh, North Carolina, Pocono Lake Preserve, Pennsylvania, Ghost Ranch, Abiqui, New Mexico, Corinne Robbins Gallery, Brooklyn and mdh fine arts & design, New York.
